After completing her Physiotherapy degree in 2008 from The University of Sydney, Kate gained extensive experience working in both private and public sectors in Sydney, treating a varied caseload of complex patients as a senior rehabilitation Physiotherapist.
Kate spent 5 years living in Hong Kong, and after the birth of her first child she developed a special interest in Pelvic Health. She completed numerous professional development courses through WHTA (Women’s Health Training Associates) Australia, and later graduated from Curtin University with a Postgraduate Certificate in Continence and Pelvic Health. Kate now enjoys taking on a full pelvic health caseload.
As a mother and former athlete, Kate has a passion for post natal rehabilitation – whether that is meeting the demands of motherhood or return to elite sports. Kate strives to educate and empower women of all stages to optimise their pelvic health.
Outside of work Kate can be found running around with her two kids, in search of a great coffee, or planning their next overseas adventure.
Special Interests: Pregnancy and birth preparation, post natal pelvic floor rehabilitation, stress and urge urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, male pre and post prostatectomy care.
