Georgia Ferguson

Exercise Physiologist

Georgia has a strong passion for all things Women’s Health as well as promoting healthy relationships with exercise for all people. Georgia grew up extremely active in the sporting world and knew from a young age that her dream job was becoming an Exercise Physiologist. Georgia studied at the University of Queensland and gained lots of experience working in private practice in her home city of Brisbane before making the move down south to Canberra in 2023!

Georgia enjoys taking a holistic approach to your well-being and blends the strengths of women’s health, pelvic health and exercise to craft treatment pathways that are individualised to you. Whether you’re wanting to get back to the gym/cross-fit and/or running after having a baby; want to prevent and/or improve your bone mineral density whilst managing pelvic floor dysfunction; want to use exercise to combat changes and/or symptoms during the menopause transition; or want to work on managing your chronic illness in a more active and independent way, Georgia would love to meet you.

Despite these special interest areas, Georgia continues to enjoy treating a wide variety of different conditions, and is also a qualified Pilates instructor, teaching both clinical Pilates classes as well as prenatal and postnatal Pilates.

In her spare time you’ll find Georgia walking or running around the lake, picking up heavy things in the gym, spending quality time with her partner and friends, or gradually making her way through a great fantasy book.

Special Interests: pre- and post-natal exercise, bone density exercise training, invisible diseases (PCOS, Endometriosis, POTS, Hypermobility, Chronic Fatigue, Long Covid etc.)
