Emma is deeply committed to supporting all aspects of recovery through a whole-person approach, shaped by the unique and often complex changes people experience across every stage of life. Her care extends beyond physical health alone, recognising the important role emotional wellbeing, mental health, nutrition, and lifestyle demands play in long-term outcomes.
Her passion has been shaped by her own journey in competitive gymnastics, where her experiences as both an athlete and a woman sparked a curiosity about the many factors that influence how the body moves, adapts, and performs. This continues to shape her clinical approach today, particularly in tailoring exercise care to support women through adolescence in sport, menstrual cycle changes, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery. Inspired by her mother’s work as a midwife, and further deepened through her own motherhood journey, Emma brings both professional knowledge and lived understanding to women navigating invisible conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, chronic pain, fatigue, and mental health challenges.
Emma is a strong advocate for strength training as a cornerstone of women’s health across all life stages, supporting strength, confidence, bone health, recovery, and long-term wellbeing. With a background in both elite sport and Pilates, she combines strength training with movement quality, control, and body awareness to create care that feels both empowering and sustainable.
Emma also enjoys supporting clients through injury recovery, cardiometabolic health, osteoporosis and bone health, and long-term movement goals. She values the importance of pelvic health care for both men and women, recognising its role in overall function and wellbeing.
Outside of work, Emma is a musical performer and enjoys performing at local venues, weddings, and private events across Canberra. She prioritises her own health and fitness and still occasionally attempts a few gymnastics moves, despite being out of practice. Most importantly, she cherishes time with her husband, family, friends, and her son.
