Dhara’s journey into physiotherapy is rooted in a deep sense of family and empathy. Growing up, she frequently accompanied her parents to their clinic visits, where she saw firsthand how life-changing the right care and a kind word can be. Inspired by her father’s recovery and his advocacy for the profession, Dhara decided to dedicate her career to helping others regain their confidence and movement.
With a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and two years of experience in private practice, Dhara developed a strong clinical foundation before moving to Canberra to complete her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra. This advanced training, combined with her years in the clinic, allows her to approach every patient with both high-level clinical confidence and a genuine, polite warmth.
Dhara is particularly passionate about the “human” side of healthcare—listening to her patients’ stories and ensuring they feel truly heard. She specializes in the management of back and neck pain, as well as complex knee and shoulder rehabilitation. While she loves the variety of musculoskeletal work, she also looks forward to expanding her expertise into Women’s Health with SoundCBR.
Outside the Clinic Dhara enjoys staying active and creative to keep a balanced lifestyle. She loves practicing yoga, exploring arts and crafts, and is currently learning to play the flute! On her days off, she enjoys going for walks next to the lake or occasionally relaxing with a good book.
