Ashleigh is a Physiotherapist with a strong interest in Women’s and Pelvic Health, alongside a background in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Originally from Young, NSW, she relocated to Canberra to complete her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra before beginning her career in private practice.
Ashleigh’s interest in Women’s Health has continued to grow throughout her career, leading her to complete Level 1 and Level 2 Women’s Health Physiotherapy training through the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She particularly enjoys supporting women through pregnancy, the postnatal period and pelvic floor concerns, and is passionate about creating a comfortable and supportive environment where women feel heard and confident in understanding their bodies.
Alongside Women’s Health, Ashleigh enjoys treating a broad range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. She uses a combination of education, hands-on treatment (including dry needling) and exercise based rehabilitation to help people build strength, improve function and confidently return to the activities they enjoy. Her sporting background includes five years as a rugby league sports trainer and two years as Team Physiotherapist for the Eastlake Demons Women’s AFL side, giving her experience across acute injury management, rehabilitation and return to sport. Ashleigh is also a qualified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor and loves incorporating movement, strength and Pilates into her treatment, particularly during pregnancy and when returning to exercise after birth.
Outside of the clinic, Ashleigh enjoys keeping active, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Special Interests: Prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy, pelvic floor conditions, musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, return to exercise and sport, and Pilates.
